Aaron Hunt Featured in DC Take on Love Is Blind

Washinton, DC — The Hunt Dating Consulting founder Aaron Hunt was recently featured as the Dating Coach for a DC-based spinoff of the popular Netflix Show Love Is Blind.

DC IS BLIND, founded by Beth Cormack of Pitch a Friend fame, combines the best of quarantine loneliness with your favorite quarantine binge-watch. Released through a private Facebook group, DC IS BLIND allows audience members to follow along as singles hope to meet their “quarantine bae.”

The first and third seasons featured ten men and ten women who engaged in audio-only Zoom calls from their “quarantine pod” and ranked their “dates,” slowly narrowing their date nights from 10 dates to 5 to 3 while increasing the length of the dates each night. At the end of their third date, cast members chose their “quarantine bae” and either saw them for the first time through a private Zoom video call, or were sent to a group video call to mingle with fellow cast members who didn’t match with their chosen quarantine baes. Audience members followed along by watching cast members’ audition videos, post-date confessional videos, and live streams with the cast.

Season 2 followed this formula, but consisted of ten gay men and ten gay and bisexual women who dated cast members of the same gender.

Aaron functioned as a host for fan-favorite live streaming events with the cast and worked behind the scenes as a dating coach, using his expertise to provide coaching for cast members during and after the experience.

While Season 3 officially wrapped on Saturday, May 2, casting has opened for Season 4. Those interested in auditioning for the Season 4 cast can submit their application here. Those interested in following along can buy a ticket here, then join the private Facebook group here.
